| Is the keeney cove entrance worth using in spring I am new at this that's why I am asking I have read some horror stories or should I just stick to the river |

It seems to me that Keeney Cove has been silting up and getting a lot shallower over the last few years. I had so much trouble getting my kayak in there last year that I didn't even try with my little bass boat.
