This year marks the earliest year in History that the ice is off on Lake Winnipesaukee!!!!

Ice off Date 03-24-2010

The norm is Mid-to late April

I have been going since 2007. The fishing has always been excellent.

Last years ice off was 4-12. It was the first time we were able to get on Largemouth...consistantly.

The smallies are always there and abundant, sometimes to easy.

Can't wait to get there........ 66 more days!!!

Hmmmmm

Johnny,

For the last three years we have been staying in Moultenborough. It maybe a 5 minute ride from state landing. We mainly fish around Cow island. Last year we trecked out to Winter Harbour for something different. I'm thinking this year the LM will be moving up and be more active. Last year we got on them pretty good. Nothing beats the smallmouth fishing...non stop action! 64 more days!!
