Is it still legal to fish after the end of February? People are asking how the ice is on this site still but is it legal?

Trout stocked waters are for the most part closed.Bass waters are still fine to fish.Bantam is open all year.Just can't TARGET pike. There are plenty of other species in there.I've even seen rouge trout caught there. But,definitely check the guide. There are many of options as long as you can find safe ice.

Most of the places with trout are closed but some places with trout have special regulations like squantz, you can keep 1 16''+ trout per person but good luck getting on squantz, i called a local shop today and they said if you had a ten foot plank then yeah sure. If you want pike im pretty sure winchester is still good. Go on the dep website and check the anglers guide for clarification though.
