Fished lillinonah, water was down at least 10+ feet. The fish eggs, vegetation, nests, and everything in the shore are getting killed with these water lowerings. Also they beached ton and tons of very nice boats.

So we started off with nothing couldnt even spot one on the fish finder. Fished everywhere. Then we went to a vegetated area and started slamming the smallmouths at about 5ish pm.

We also noticed something out of the ordinary. Lots of police boats, people scanning the shoreling from boats, and people walking the shore. Turns out i heard someone went missing.

Sorry for the crappy report im in a rush to head off to zoar in a few.

We debated whether to or not. We wouldnt of gone out if my aunt from norwalk didnt come up so we didnt want to ruin her day and said what the heck (a very expensive what the heck). I dont think you could make it through the pond brook cove without hitting bottom but we lauched from the newtown/brookfield launch.

Lovers Leap was on the news again tonight. The water level to the high water mark on the cliffs was "WAY DOWN." 10' at least. The news crew were standing on what normally would be water above your head.
