Havent had much time to fish lately due to work/girl and decided I needed to get out this afternoon (got out saturday morning with dad/brother and fished for stripers and kicked ass on fish up to 29inches on super flukes/spooks on the river from 7 30-930am)

Hit a small local pond that really weeded up in the last 2 weeks. Planned to fish the frog on the new allstar I picked up off of beave (steve)(6 10, heavy fast action, braid on a quantum inferno, spro frog) Allready caught 4 fish with it from shore fishing a few small places with a buddy wendseday, lost a 4+ that night....

5-6 casts in and I watched this gal inhale it from below (was on the sunny side of the lake) fish was related to pads WITH algae matts nearby *(only pattern found tonite)*

Thats all I landed.... missed 4 fish on the frog because I was in striper mode from saturday- couldnt hook any of um saturday till they hit a 2nd or 3rd time, so I kept waiting to long. Couldnt get any of those fish to hit on a second cast today. Dropped a 2lber at the boat on a xcalibur walk the dog bait.

Every fish i had on was 2+ today which was a nice change up.
