I have fished Long Pond a few times this season with very mixed success. Does anybody have any experience there? I am looking for some guidance. I've had mixed success with senkos rigged whacky style and some soft jerkbaits. Seem to get more pickerel to bite than Bass.

I have fished there a lot, and the lake is very tempromental. There are a ton of picks in that lake, and i have yet to put togethere a repeatable game plan. Go to the smaller side and you will have better bass results. I plan on spending a day deep cranking this pond to see if that will be more consistant.

Thanks. The smaller side is hard to pin down. week choked. aside from some pads here and there, its all the same. Just slam the bank? Senkos?

I have done the best with a jig on the small side, but the worm can be productive. I am waiting for the pads to come back in to see if i can get some frog action going. A buzz bait is another good plan. I think because it is so rough to fish it gets a lot less traffic and has better production. Big boats dont often go over there and i do it from my yak.

Thanks for the input. I will give the small side more time.
