Is this lake accesable as of yet due to dam project ?

No, the dam is still torn down and it does not look like it will be done anytime soon. The fishing has taken a very bad turn for the worse and it will take a long time for it to turn around. I really wish it could be a catch and release only lake for about five years or so. But that aint gonna happen. Luckily the CT River is still awesome and holds lots of nice fish and cool places to explore.

I have seen boats fishing both upper and lower, I have also seen people leaving the launch because they couldn't launch. I went with a buddy and his s10 Blazer was too low to launch the boat so we went to pickerel instead.

U guys think i could get my 20 foot skeeter boat into lower moodus?? how was pickeral by the way?

you can launch at pickerel. I have not seen any big boats on lower only upper. If your tow vehicle is high enough the launch angle should allow you to put in at upper. If you can't make it in you could always go to pickerel of salmon river.

Thanks-I have my nephews coming to stay with me for "fishin camp" our annual male bonding week.haha. So wanted to now. thanks for the info.
