				| Went up with my wife today, we walked around mashapaug, wish I had my pole for that!! Water is real low there, had some nice coves with low water and schools of fish..... some kayakers and an older couple launching a nice small Lowe 14ft boat... hope that had luck!!!
Fished just the handicap dock of Bigelow... some jumps, some small fish swimming around. No bites, should of brought some nightcrawlers!! Ugh....

Beautiful day... nice day to be out side!!!!

				| I saw no signs saying no trespassing. Nothing there said "no fishing" or "lakes closed" . I saw other people fishing/boating/hiking there. There was nothing on the many signs throughout the park that there was no fishing in march. There were some state workers there, some renovations going on the roads and doing some things behind the toilets near the mashapaug launch area. There was a state police officer who nodded his hat to my wife and I "hello".
However, on weekends and holidays it's seems pretty expensive to get in there!

				| Yes they are closed. You need to read the CT Angler's Guide! | |

				| Actually the 3rd Sat in April is more of a trout thing. There are many waters open year round. | |
