New here been away from fishing for a few years due to family issues. Really looking forward to getting back to it. I was on that ctfisherman site years ago but now you have to pay for it. Crazy I think. I hope there are some great fisherman on here.

Welcome Clint!

I left CTF back in February. Mitch isn't doing a good job on controlling members' posting (non-fishing topics, joking and teasing, pics, etc).

I'm always looking for a new fishing partner, so feel free. Just don't have a car.

OK I'm back. Lost track of this site for a while. I mostly do lake fishing these days, Candlewood mostly. Have a small boat. Would like to get out and do some surf casting I just don't know where to go I would imagine the Milford Stratford area. Used to go down there for years with my dad he had a bigger boat and we used to kill the blues and striped bass, porgies, everything. Back in the 70's the Housy was exploding with fish. He's gone now and I'm trying to get back into it. If anybody wants to share some surf casting spots down by the ocean let me know.
