Water levels will be affected on the drops this year unless we get alot of rain.. Already been tyin flies for them... area is loaded with stocked trout which is catch and release right now.. Another month and we will be able to catch and release some salmon.. Inside scoop says we will be getting some bigger ones from VT and MA hatcheries... Imma see if i can put another salmon inside cableas fish tank this year since mine was the only one in there the first year they opened up...Wink

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) today announced the beginning of its annual stockings of surplus broodstock Atlantic salmon. This week DEP’s Inland Fisheries Division released 100 salmon into the Shetucket River, 45 salmon into Crystal Lake (Ellington) and 45 salmon into Mount Tom Pond (Morris-Litchfield-Washington) and next week, DEP will be releasing 100 salmon into the Naugatuck River. YEA YEA YEA this was posted oct 7th.... so this week fellas....

Few browns. Didnt catch none tho. Dad hooked into 2... all in all i seen 5 and they are all bigger than last year... Will be going back really soon...

so im excited to hear they're there because i have never caught one actually never fished for salmon at all was thinking about pulaski in the spring but in the meantime got a spots tips or lures i should try for one now naugy sounds good but i dont know anything else Rolling Eyes

DEP was all over naughty today. what got put it proly say over half got ripped out. by some kids they were looking for... they gave out mad tickets for people fishing like upstate NY which was funny till i realized i didnt have my license on me was in kayak dry storage. they were cool they looked me up tho. considering i had NH, NY, and PA fishing and hunting licenses...

Caught 10-16-10 and than released... landed one more and one fish got fowl hooked i broke my line cause shit aint right.... good late night tho.....
