Ditto what Mark said. I used to use Vanish until I found out how easily the line broke and how the line practically "Vanished" from my reel so no more Vanish for me. Sorry Dawg but IMO Vanish is crap. Once you get the hang of casting with a baitcaster get good fluoro line like Segaur brand which Mark has turned me on to. Good luck with the learning stage. Very Happy

Thanks guys for the info on the vanish. At least the line is only $5 for 110yds. On a good note I am getting much more used casting and am going to get out this weekend and do some fishing.
