Well Me Mike and Bryan got together and made a hude batch of feed for baiting areas we fish. Well over a hundred pounds

Tested er out, and it made quite a nice cloud in the water, which we were excited about.

Tonight after work, we bagged it up, got it in the freezer, and Mike and Bryan headed down to the river for some fishin before heavily baiting the area with the new product. I cooked up a meal and met them down there aferwards. I later found out mike tested some the new feed on the end of his line. If this doesn't prove it's productive, i don't know what will:

I can't thank Iain and Ethan enough for taking the time to come out to our swim with certified scales. I'll let Mike (CarpFishin860) explain the story, since it was his catch.

Oh, did i mention it was 43lbs 12oz?

First and foremost id like to thank my buddies Justin Solak and Bryan Tuller because without these guys I would have never caught this fish. The effort and brain-storming we have put in over the last couple years has been intense and it has paid off! Id also like to thank Iian and Ethan as well for making the ride down with some of their buddies to weigh the fish and take some awesome photographs, also I gotta thank my father for putting a fishing rod in my hand at a early age and showing me what its all about. I have to call the connecticut fisheries or someone tomorrow to get the paper work sent out and if all things go as planned this will be the new state record!

Well- thats a fat ass fish. I sure hope the scales tip off for you, and eventually, you will have a nice little photo/blog here about the whole experience, and what comes after landing a record fish. We all go out there with hooking that fat slob bait sucking mac daddy in mind. Sounds like you put in the work for this. That makes it all the sweeter. Congratulations. Lunk damn carp dude. Dave

Congratulations on the lunker! With the effort that I saw all of you carpers putting in at the Carp-In at Batterson Park Pond, I figured that someone would break a record, soon. Now, go break it, again! Very Happy
