we get WFN on tv in my area - for me it is the best - FISHING - and that is all they show! every once in a while i see a show that just makes me wonder! just what the hell is going on? i don't know if anyone else watches the network but today Jarrett Edwards was fishing for trout with THE ONE AND ONLY (lol) Rowland Martin!

it didn't take me to long to figure something out! (lol) Jarrett Edwards was fishing ultra light tackle (2lb test line) to be exact and didn't lose a fish! and next to him in the boat was Rowland fishing with medium tackle (Braided line)!

so i have to ask myself if Rowland is such a great fisherman why the hell would HE NEED BRAID! when I didn't see 1 trout caught that was over 18 inches!

this is not the first time i have had issue with Rowland - many years ago i had a camera man friend who filmed a couple of his shows! and after a conversation with him discovered that Rowland had a boat off camera with a tank and that divers would attach THE SAME COUPLE of bass to his hook trough out the taping!

not taking anything away from him BUT COME ON!

on the subject of bad fishing shows Charlie Moore is a disgrace to the sport. Tune in anytime to see him eating at expensive restaurants, smoking cigars, running his mouth, and being a general douche. Every rich jock's idea of a good fishing trip. Smile

I remember watching the guy who always said "oohh sonnn.. look at that 10 pound bass!! oohh sonnn!!"

I watch the line up on NBC sports channel, and I wish I had the sportsman channel.. I enjoy a good fishing show.

I wish they had a fishing show for "guy who always fishes from the shore!!" that would be me!!

Not a fan of watching Rowland Martin catch bass out of stocked private ponds. I like Mike Iconelli's "City Limits Fishing." Shows you can catch decent fish just about anywhere.

I wasnt that much of a fan of roland martin. I like mike iaconelli, he can be a sore loser and a "hothead" but hes pretty entertaining. I wanna see the 24 hour rod race on that channel. Seems like a good show.
