Saterday morning Jjay and I decided place to go would be Park pond in Winchester so while the rain still fell we hit the road at 4:30 am, after the power outages of the night before and 3 stops for fuel we finaly found a working fuel pump and pulled in at 6 am to a great lookin veiw.
not 100 yds from the launch we got first fish of the day
thats right curse of Peco the red eye devil fish a rock bass. Spunky little fart took a lure 2 inches longer than he was. After a while jjay felt left out and got 1 of his own...
Another rockie and once again smaller than the lure. these little guys think there full size fish the way thay hit big lures.
Finaly a real fish not a monster but a real bass
Jjay once again and me im still cursed
Things went on like this for most of the day Jjay getting real fish me cursed. Even with all the devil fish how could ya not enjoy a day like this...
and still Jjay kept reeling in the bass
So after i while I finaly found my groove
Unfortunatly I was unable to keep fish on the hook and lost a few decent ones while Jjay could get them to the boat was unable to find any real big ones.
Family ment we had things to do so 4:30 was the cut-off time at the end of it all another GREAT DAY !!!
Once again Thanks Jjay for the company ....looking foward to next trip out
