After fishing the funeral home I hit the Pequonnock at Beardsley Park. Arrived around 6:20pm and stuck with the Rooster Tail.

As I made my way downstream I caught an 11" brown, dinky rock bass, and 8" yellow perch.

Stopped at the spot at Bunnells Pond that had been producing the rainbows earlier this month but didn't get into anything with the Rooster Tail, Tail Dancer, or Jointed Shad Rap.

Last stop was the lower tidal area at Glenwood Park.

Had 3 hits on the Rooster Tail before switching over to an olive green muddler X-Rap XR-4.

The XR-4 was the producer. Caught me 2 browns up to a chubby 13.5", 3 baby stripers, and a 16" schoolie. Fought the schoolie with a 5'6" light power rod and 6 pound mono. Took 4 short runs on me.

Hit the road just after 8:30pm

Just goes to show how even a larger aggressive predatory fish will hit something so small.

Well that was a waste then.
If you're gonna eat em, then eat em. I don't really care what you do. I personally would have left those to join the sea run population...
