What's better for pike? Bantam or CT River (Slamon River/Haddam Meadows area)

Is there anything else better than this in CT for pike?

I don't really fish for them on purpose except in the very early spring when the water is very cold,...but i've caught way more by accident on the river than I have at Bantam. Any good grass line in the Haddam, Salmon River area will hold them. If you are in the area, stop by CT Outfitters in Hartford and talk to Blaine Anderson who works there. He is a professional guide on the river for stripers and pike and he will give you some expert tips on where and how to get them!! Wink

If you would rather fish a lake for them, I would vote for Mansfield Hollow!! There are some real submarines in there,..right Johnny?!! Shocked Shocked
