Had an hour to hit the local pond today, decided to fend off the ticks because the pond is so small there's no wind. I got there and put on the houdini shad, pulled in a 2 pounder, a couple of real tiny ones, including the most aerobatic 1/2 pound bass i've ever seen and then latched into this guy:

Stayed for half an hour longer, but that was the last fish I got. Again, apologies for the crappy pics, hard to tell scale, and I was without scale, but the fish was def. in the high 4 to low 5 range, all in all a pretty good hour spent, I think!

Nice job.

I have been wondering what the heck is a houdini shad. I was looking for them at dicks too!

I just looked it up. Basicly like a super fluke. I have a couple houdini shads bags in the boat and didnt even know it Smile

nice fish....many companies make soft jerkbaits but the houdini shad is just yum's name for it....like the superfluke from zoom and the fin-s-fish from lunker city

Yeah, sorry, I shoulda been clearer w/ that... They do sell them at Dick's, I've been having really great luck with the silver flake top w/ white bottomed ones with the closed tail.
