Rookie & I fished it last Tuesday...Water temp was 54 to 60...We say lots of fish up shallow & caught Smallies & LMB's on all kinds of baits...

I ended up with 11 & Rookie had 8...Biggest was a Smallie caught on a Hair Jig that went 3-14....It was slow at the start...We got there at 8 & closed it at 6:30.

I'm sure Rookie will post some pics....He better cause i posted the report....LOL

You call that a report????

Keith left out all the fun parts Smile Picked him up at a lot on 91, gets in the car, we hit the ramp and the check engine light comes on! Oh $hit! Then i notice the volt guage was down. We get off the next ramp and luckily i had a volt tester in the car Smile Sure enough, the car is running off the battery. I made a call to a machanic freind and confirmed this though. 4:30ish in the morning :eeek:
We decide to go back, get his car and hit somewhere near us instead. Get some fishing done!

We head back and the car seems to be back to normal. Im a little confused at the rest of what we did. But we ended up taking a ride down some back roads and finding the car working normal. So we went for it. Made it there and back no more problems.

Next morning car is screwed up again. Parked for the day. Next morning i give the kids a ride to school while running on the battery :eeek: I ended up changing the alternator yesterday.

WE LUCKED OUT BIG !!!!!!!

What the hell is he looking at??? I see this pic and hear a theme in my head. "Da da da daaaaaaaaaaaaa"

Heres what happens when your partner lifts a fish into the boat, from the back deck and swinging it onto the front deck! BRAND NEW SOCKS TOO!!!!!

A double Smile

First largie of the day Smile

After the trouble running the boat thru this nasty grass to get into a small skinny water area we noticed behind it, we look and see, "hey, theres an easier way in over there".

First fish of the day. Yup, he was to busy on the phone making plans for his next trip, i had to take the pic myself LOL

Yes, we sure did!!! Didnt have any tools, but worst case we would have had to use the 3 batteries in the boat to get home with, one at a time Smile

I'ld like to fish there sometime, can you bring your own boat ? If so does your boat have to be quarantined ? Thanks for any info.

Tibbs,

Unless they have changed the regulations, you can bring your own boat, but it is a 20HP max, as long as your boat is rated for at least 40HP or more. So if your boat is only rated at 15HP max, then the biggest outboard you can put on your boat there would be a 7.5 HP. They do this to keep the speeds down thus preventing large waves, and shoreline erosion.

Guys correct me if I'm wrong.
