Can someone let me know what website is best to check the tides for the Middletown Area?
On June 21, a buddy of mine wants to yak on the Mattabessett and Coginchaug but is concerned about the tides.

What timeframe is best to fish these rivers..ie: an hour or two before high tide?

thanks in advance for your help

I use the "Tides Near Me" phone app and Middletown is listed as a location. From my experience, the app is spot on.

You can also you this site: http://www.tides.info/?command=view&location=Middletown,%20Connecticut%20River,%20Connecticut

I prefer to fish here on the first few hours of the outgoing tide, but I've heard people say the opposite. All personal preference.
