fished from 6:30-9am.
picked up 3 lmb with the largest going 4.2lbs and the others around 2.5lbs.
all caught on a worm off the deep weed edges.
here's a pic of the 4.2.

Nice fish Stu,..hope you don't mind, but I'll just piggyback on your report instead of making another!
I was there with my pooch for a few hours in the early morning as well! I don't remember exactly how many I got,..but I think it was in the 4-6 neighborhood! My biggest was a 3.0 but i did have one that looked about 4 that shook off on me! I had some stuff to do so I had to quit at 8AM.
Later in the afternoon I returned for "round 2"!! I caught one on a jig,..but just wasn't "feeling it" after a while so I switched to flipping a T-rigged tube and got a few more fish including one that was a little over 4.

Nice fish Stu & Mark,
Mark I'm glad I'm not the only one who brings the dog fishing.
I'm training mine to smell out the big ones.. _________________ Sleep...Eat...Fish!!!!! Then do it all over again. |
