Hi,
As you can see by my avatar I am into RC Helicopters.
No the picture is not upside down, the heli is inverted. There 3 kinds of heli Coax(two sets of counter rotating blades) FP(One set of blades with a given pitch) and CP(one set of blades but the blades are flat enabiling you to controll the pitch of the blades,Positive pitch,Neutral,And Negative)
The heli there is a CP with negative pitch. Any ways back to the topic.
Does any one out there fly helis or planes, or drive cars or boats??
Here are the helis I have now

This one is a coax

This is a fixed pitch
Here is my soon to be

A collective pitch.

Bass 4 Me, I used to race rc boats at mansfield, I used to belong to a club, I ran in a couple classes, I am trying to sell one of them now, its an outrigger, extremely fast, It has been clocked at 62mph it is just the boat. I also used to fly planes, I built a bi plane with 6ft wingspans, unfortunatly I crashed and totalled it, I did buy a nitro powered truck for my kids but it was to fast, couldnt control it so i got rid of it.All my rc toys were nitro powered no batteries.I wanted to get a heli but the ones I looked at were very expensive, I did all my buying at Tower Hobbies.

Yeah I still do the planes after 33 years of flying sailplanes to jets. Just getting into helicopters, have the Belt CP, Blade CP, Walkera palm size and a Trex 450 in my heli hangar.

i want a gas powered rc truck but haven't had the funds to pay for it. Maybe when my son gets a little older.

I go to the Wethersfield/rocky hill meadows and watch the guys fly their plans. They are amazing. My son loves it. They have a flying club on the turf field down there, cool stuff.

Justin,

That's the Winding Brook RC Club that flies down at the turf farm. I use to belong to the Farmington Club that flies at the meadows for like 25 years but just elected to drop out several years ago as I was fishing more than I was flying there so didn't want to pay the club dues for a field I was not using. If you and your son ever wants to get into planes see me when you're ready as I have trainer set-ups already to go and will give you a great deal on it.

Yeah that's not counting the 60-70 planes have in my workshop. When I get hooked I usually get hooked hard. Same thing goes for my fishing gear. Wink Very Happy
