Hey guys -

I'm getting back into shooting my bow and was wondering if anybody uses a release aid..I was looking at the wrist strap caliper style. Any suggestions?

I rock the jim fletcher fletchhunter concho...love it for heavy draws...I shoot 80 lbs regularly.....use your finger on the backside of the trigger for a saftey...then, pull and let fly....

thanks for the post, I forgot I put that up there. I bought a Cobra a few months ago, and def put my finger on the back side....had a close call by just bumping it.

What do you recommend for a foam target?

I bought a cube style one at Wal mart on super clearance for 1.50....use a piece of pipe or threaded rod to anchor it to the ground....

I have a tru-fire, not sure of the model it's a couple of years old. It has the evolution buckle system, works well.
