Last weekend was slow hooked into 2 salmon but couldnt stop them considering how fresh they are and only using 10 lb test. Im leaving to go back up there again in few mins.... Again seen just over 12 fish all last week which is slow... Fish have been better all week but beginning to slow down... We'll see what the weekend brings me hopefully can get some pics in this weekend.....

This weekend was alot better than last weekend. Fish was slow but got into some everyday. The estuary is loaded and they are gathering to get ready to run up the rivers in #'s... Saturday i got into 32 pound king and 17 lb coho... Sunday i landed a jack, coho, and steelie but the coho and steelie was fowl hooked so got released after all is just the beginning of the season. Not to mention i was fishing with DEC officers and a few guides that i know... Keep in mind they got nothing but its all good... This week is calling for colder temps so we'll see what that brings for next weekend... Oh this weekend is the festival in town if anyone cares... and all-in-all i seen about 70 fish those 2 days and hooked into bout 30.... Still like torpedo's....

more pics....

These steelies were not out of the main river. South Sandy.... The salmon is one of my dads for the main river.... The "RUN" has not yet started... they still swarming in the estuary..... I think the main river has more steelies and cohos than kings... I will be going back up for 2 weeks starting next friday.... All hell is gonna break loose. Water level as of tonight will be over 500cfs till fri... than lowering it, hopefully that will set off the run.... Thanks ya'll for your interests and comments...
