High tide for Black Rock was scheduled for 2:52pm Tuesday and arrived at the Fayerweather jetty around 3:30pm. Winds werre a steady 10 to 15 mph southwest with plenty of 20 to 25 mph gusts.

Tried casting on both sides of the jetty by the honey hole but didn't get any action no matter what I threw. There were many 1 foot waves out that way too and the winds were causing a current making any topwater lure drift.

Later I headed over to Breezy Point to see what it was like and who was there. When I got there I was seeing plenty of 2 to 4 foot waves and 2 fellow Seaside surfcasters there. The buddies weren't getting a single swirl or explosion on their topwaters no matter what they threw. I didn't get anything either.

Next stop was the boat ramp to see what the water and wind was like there and if any bunker was jumping. I never saw any splashes of bunker and the wind gusty. Walked along the shore farther in where the wind and water wasn't bad but never got a swirl or explosion while playing pencil, popper with the XRW-11. Waited to see if any bunker were to show up but never did see it so I headed over to Breezy Point to check and see what the water was like now that tide had gotten much lower.

Waves were still kicking up out there with the southwest winds so I hit Remington for a bit but nada.

Last stop was the Pequonnock behind the bus terminal and tried throwing the XRW-11 and FLR-10 but nada.

Everybody I saw fishing today never caught a single fish. Only saw 1 chummer at Seaside get a hit by what seemed to be a tailor because of the condition of his bait when he reeled it in to check.
