Anyone going out for trout this weekend, I'm looking to go to a new place one of the days this weekend. Preferably east of the CT river.

You guys should try Crystal lake in Ellington. It's fairly small and is one of the best trout lakes in CT. It holds over a large portion of the stocked trout and also gets broodstock salmon. Check regs. for slot lengths, though.

I've caught decent bass at both Cedar and Crystal. However, this info doesn't help you at all since you're looking for trout.

It's kind of upsetting that those "rednecks" have a much better motor than mine.
