again, another hour in the morning (uncas 7-8am) and in the blazing heat (batterson 2-3pm). not much to report, just hope others are doing better.
uncas: 1 lmb going 2+ lbs in the middle of the pond as it was chasing bait fish. fished pads and about 1/3 of the right shore, over to the humps and then the back cove. zippo.
batterson: other than experiencing a decomposing snapping turtle and meeting a bunch of ctfishtalk members, nothing...except a good paddle into the breeze! |

Nice Meeting you...Batterson was a toilet today....Between the 4 of us we caught 3 bass.....

its getting bad here in the ponds i usually frequent. Been so darn hot here that I can barely get out on the water really, and I'm alaways rewarded with that yummy "small pond in the summer" smell. Tasty. I guess that's what I get for only fishing small waters. Gotta prod marc to get the boat out on the hous for some pike!

Lookn4bass, Nice seeing you out there at Batterson. We were the guys in the other Skeeter fishing against Keith T and Just4fun in our own little mini-tournament.
