I do all kinds of fresh water. Never tried Salt water up here in Ct. Have caught almost every kind of fish in Tampa Bay, Fla. But never really got into the Ct. Shore line. I mostly fish for Trout, and Bass (all kinds of Bass). And I enjoy taking my Grandson. And catching anything with him is fun.

Good saltwater fishing up here, though not the diversity of species. If you like fishing with your grandson and want to take him saltwater, the porgy and snapper blues are like fleas in the summer time. They are great for kids, and can be caught from shore in most of the harbors.

Thanks for the info. And I think my problem with salt water here in Ct. is there are not too many free fishing areas that I have found on the shore. Other than the state parks you have to pay to visit. But, being the Urban Redneck that I am, I like free. lol

Thanks again.
