Seems like the big rain has finished rollin' thru and we may/may not get sprinkles the rest of the evening. Headed out with my brother-in-law to motor around lower Bolton and see how this new Scum Frog and soft baits work out for me. As always I'm bringin' my library of Rapala cranks just in case. Night topwater to end the evening......wish my headlamp worked.


There also might be a paddlin' appearance by Zach 0208....

boy did we get soaked


Delayed the trip by 45 minutes and then said what the hell and launched the boat. Water was blowing sideways and we were drenched 30 seconds from getting outta the truck. Met a nice couple who had been out on the water since 2pm and they were packin it it around 630 or so - once we motored on out the rain stopped like someone flipped a switch and we had sections of blue sky, really


I LMB caught on a wacky senko between the 3 of us and that's it - the rain and temp change really messed with the fish and we couldnt find but 1 - but it was fun!

Man, you guys are so brave...I lost my internet yesterday because of the storm, and my cable box appeared also to be hit by the lightning. Damn.
