OSJ's is selling skunked handwarmers !
I'm 50/50 on them right now !
Buy them at any of the ________ Mart shops instead !
Or just get them at Tarjey to be safe !!!

Be stuffing all my pockets up in NY on the Salmon River. They got a foot of snow last night and the temps are starting to plunge. I can't fish in gloves though.

Don't forget the new whole sole adhesive foot warmers. I use the adhesive toe warmers inside my gloves. They are both thin and warm. I don't even notice them in my gloves.

anyone try the zippo hand warmers? Going to try and buy one today if cabelas has them. I dont wear gloves when fishing so this hopefully will help. Runs on zippo fluid and lasts upto 12hrs(depending on the fill.)

I have a Zippo hand warmer. I haven't tried it out fishing. It works nicely for hiking and camping, when you have you hands in your pockets. It is bulkier than a regular hand warmer, about the size of a deck of cards.

Funny you guys just posted that. My buddy lent me his old Jon-E hand warmer (Same basically as zippo brand and man that thing gets hot and lasts about 12 hours and you can even light cigs off of it! That thing was burning my arse with jeans and a pear of sweats on!!!!

picked mine up today and man is this thing nice. It will work to keep in my rain top pocket(always wear it as a windbreaker too exp in this weather.) And if im wearing my dry top I can always put it on the same lanyard holding my cellphone and just grab it for a little warming. 16-17 bucks and i payed like 6 dollars for zippo fuel. If anyone picks one up please read the instructions, you fill it TWICE when you fill it the first time vs just adding however much you need. Mines been heating for 6 hours now and still going strong, and you can also bump up the heat output by taking off the cap and just waving it around a bit.

going to try it tomorrow night fishing for some bass.

I was wondering if its safe to fill when in use. My friend said if your in a dark room with the cover off it looks like the Northern Lights so I was assuming the answer was no!!! I wonder how big the bigger warmer is?

My kids bought me a pair of the Cabelas electric wool socks. Be trying those out next weekend in Pulaski, as well as chemical warmers in just about every pocket.

Let me know how the socks are because wearing waders makes my feet cold.
And if you want to refill the catalyst style hand warmer just pop off the catalyst using the metal cover for the warmer. Make sure the burner won't catch anything on fire and recharge the warmer. Mine has been going since last night still!

And wade, the size is about 4 zippo lighters, but thinner around the edges. It also comes with a fleece bag to keep it in while it's lit.
