started out sleeping out at markham meadows camp site Friday night
, fought off the rain late in till morning.

got down to the bridge and it was arm to arm ,started up river using worms which no hits all on them all day then stated using a mepps lure which produced 1 nice 13" bow.

some people I talked to where using corn and meal worms that seemed to be the bait but all and all the rain held off and the weather turned out to be a great opening day.
