Recently while I was surf fishing at the sandbar, a surfcaster I'm familiar with there showed me and gave me a snap that is just like a paperclip.

Ever seen or used them? How much better are they than the average snap swivel and how much faster is it to switch lures with them? |

				| I use tactical anglers clips on my surf setup. Very easy to switch out lures in the dark. They don't open up like a regular snap so less chance of losing your lure. |

				| If these are the things im thinking of, ive tried them freshwater trout fishing. The ones i used were pretty small (normal for freshwater stuff) and were very hard to open up, put a lure on, then close. I found it less of a pain to just tie new lures on. I stuck with the regular snap swivel. |

As SaltyVeins said, Tactical Angler clips. http://www.tacticalanglers.com/index.html

Lots of imitations out there as well. Any time I'm fishing plugs I use these. I use the 125 or 175lb. clips. _________________ RNA - It's in my blood.

				| I found one on a lure I fished out of the water. Once you figured out how it worked it was pretty easy to add and remove lures. If I find them in a shop I might pick up a few. It seems much more secure than the more traditional clips. |
