Gearing up for my annual trip up to Pulaski for the steelhead run in December. I've been using neoprene's the last few years, but looking to get a pair of breathables. Any suggestions? Boot foot vs. stocking foot etc....

Thanks!

I hear you. There have been a few times that my waders froze within minutes of getting out of the water - still go back though...

I say definitely stockings as the boots on the boot foot generally suck and you're stuck with one sole. I love my Korkers. I also really like the Grabber Foot Warmer Insoles http://www.cabelas.com/product/Footwear/Footwear-Accessories%7C/pc/104797980/c/104724180/GRABBER174-Foot-Warmer-Insoles/732905.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Ffootwear-accessories%2F_%2FN-1101233%2B4294710451%2FNe-4294710451%3FWTz_l%3DSBC%253BBRprd732905%26WTz_st%3DGuidedNav%26WTz_stype%3DGNU&WTz_l=SBC%3BBRprd732905%3Bcat104724180

I've been looking at the cabelas site and liked the wader/boot combo they sell for 199.00. Also saw the Frog Toggs Hellbenders stockingfoot. They are less expensive than the cabelas brand, then buy a pair of cabela's wading boots comes out to less than the cabelas combo.

I'll just have to force myself to go up to cabelas and see. Laughing
