Good morning everyone-- my wife and I are moving to the Groton/New London area this spring from Maryland. We're originally from Maine so we have all the ice fishing gear...probably too much. Just curious what the best lakes/ponds are for ice fishing in SE Connecticut? I'm not too concerned about the species in a particular body of water... just can't wait to get on the ice again.

I'm from the western side of the state and don't get to fish that area often. If you check the DEEP web site you'll find an enormous amount of quality lakes and ponds in your area. Some aren't listed and you'll see them driving 395 right off the highway.
