Is there still a striper holdover fishery in the Thames River? I haven't heard anything about it over the last few years.

I have some buddies that are fishing in norwich and they mark alot of fish and bait (bunker and peanuts) but no one is getting much of anything.i used to fish it all winter until seals started showing up and scattering the bass.now i don't bother fishing there during the winter
