water temps 64-66

fished with chris today for the morning. we tried deep and shallow and could not get bit. went back to shallow and chris picked up the first keeper on a watermelon soft jerk bait [img] then it was slow again. i started throwing a paddletail swimbait and that was the ticket. Over the course of the day i landed 8 fish and lost a couple others, never putting the swimbait down. it was a slow day with repeated accurate casts and they would eventually ambush the swimbait from a weedline or rocky shoreline area.
