SkeeterJim and I hit Scoville on Monday. This was a jon boat trip for us.

Jim started working to shoreline to the right, I started on the left. A few hours later we met in the middle.

Jim caught 10 LMB and I caught 9, smallest was 1.5lbs largest just under 3lbs.

Water was warm 69degs, clean and clear. lite wind not to bad.

The most fun was when I spotted a rather large bass hanging out next to a rock. I would guess it to be 20" plus.

I threw everything I had that this lunker but he did even respond, I called Jim over and he tried and still nothing.

We left him alone for about an hour and tried again and still noting.

Maybe next time. _________________ Sleep...Eat...Fish!!!!! Then do it all over again. |

				| Glad to see Scovill's is getting better. It was a pretty good lake until they drained 6-8 years ago. |

Thanks for the report Ron. You didn't mention that the biggest fish for the day was a nice smallie that was caught next to a laydown with a Strike King white Colorado blade spinnerbait. Marked a lot of fish on the depth finder but most just did not want to play. all in all a decent day out. Stumpy, Scovill is located in Wolcott and as Chuck mentioned is electric motors only. Considering how shallow most of this lake is you wouldn't want to run a gas motor if you could. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!
