Going to change hooks in hopes they work better. I think they will since most poeple like them better

Im going from a J-bend to a EWG for use in senko.

What size should i get?

Right now, in gamagatsu i would use 4, but im using hookerz in 3's since they run a bit larger

Im starting to have second thoughts. I had some EWG, probably size 3, and tried them today with the senko. No matter how straight i rigged them, they all spun.

I dont have this problem with the J-bend's.

Its easier to rig with the EWG though. Can get it straight much easier than with the J-bends. _________________ Thar aint NO fish in here !!!!!!!! |

Try Texposer hooks by Lunker City,..IMO much better hookups than Gamakatsu EWG.

The 3/0 or 4/0 are fine for senkos and soft jerkbaits! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Rookie, can you post a pic of the senko with the EWG in it. I dont understand the spin part? How are you fishing them? I am assuming T-rigged. I never had an issue with the senko spinning. Also are you employing a walk the dog action or are you deadsticking them? Hope I can help out.
