Very sad indeed, Damn stupid things kids do just being kids.

I used to do the same things when I was a kid on the Willimantic river train tressel near south river road in Tolland where I grew up as a kid. We used to climb to the top (about 2 to 3 stories), and jump, cannon ball, or shallow dive into 6 feet of water, but never when the river was a foot below flood stage. The bottom was all sand, and we were always careful, still stupid with shallow water jumping from that high though.

My thoughts are with the families........

Is it the one that didn't have a garage, just a concrete foundation for a garage? Did the home have exposed rustic wood beams in the living room on the first floor? If so, I have been in your old house. I grew up with the 2 boys and a younger daughter that used to live there, they were friends of mine. Small world...........

hahah that's the one...

we built out the garage and rec room on that foundation, though it went unfinished for years... I've been by since then and the new owners have really made it look nice.

Small world indeed.

Kaelan's body was recovered yesterday. He was spotted near the salisbury / cornwall border by a train conductor. He was pulled out near the covered bridge in west cornwall. Truthfully as sad as it gets, but hopefully this will provide some closure for the family to give their son a proper burial.
