went to mudge and fished with my friend andrea. water temps were around 78.

this is where i complain about the weather: was supposed to be nice, then rain late in the day (30% Chance). It poured on us all day and we had no rain gear just swim wear....

it was slow, i was catching them flipping but it wasn't fun for my partner. we got on a shallow weed bed that sticks out on the point and started hucking spinnerbaits. we proceded to whack 38 bass on spinerbaits above the grass up to about 4#. she got lunker of course and it was her biggest bass ever. ended up at the north end of the lake by the beach and went for a swim for about an hour before we called it a day. as we left around 4ish, the sun came out now i owe her a trip to lakeville, soon... _________________ Power Tackle www.powertackle.com

i have had the best luck with them:

on windy or cloudy days. or anytime I am near bait fish. I saw a slot of fry in the water on Sunday. they are both a great search bait and reaction bait.

I really like to throw them around weeds or other hard cover. i have caught smallies in deep water relating to bait on them as well. most of my fish however either grab it as it goes either above a grass bed or down a weedline. usually just a huck and wind retrieve. hopefully it helps. _________________ Power Tackle www.powertackle.com
