				| My Daiwas are beat and old so I think im going to invest some money in new gear, I have 6 Daiwa 103 shd which I love , I have shimano citicas that I picked up last year that I really like,I have Bass Pros Extreme 4 of them that I use for flippin, (I think thats all their good for),I also have some Plueger Presidents that I think are awesome in every aspect. Just wondering what some of you guys are using and how you like them. |

Flippy, I like the BPS Rick Clunn baitcasters. I have 2 of them in the different gear ratios, but I don't do alot of flipping, mostly chucking and winding and pitching to docks etc. _________________ Life's Short - Fish Hard - Take a Kid Fishing |

				curado 100d's

chronarch 100b's

light baits nothing beats a chronarch50mg

The new daiwa stuff is nice for pitching/flipping (zillions)

Not a fan of the e series with shimano. |

				| So Nick, your a Shimano guy, I agree those reels are nice, For me I wouldnt pay more than 120.00 for a flippin reel! I think a Zillion reel is overkill for flippin.I use reels like Quantum KVD reels for 100.00 bucks they work great! and were have you been lately? |

Flippy, if you want to just keep those daiwa's and refurbish them with new bearings etc,..I know a guy who is top-notch for that sort of thing. Several people I know have had him overhaul their old reels and they all say that they are significantly better than new when he gets done with them! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

I love my Curado 201E7....Smooth at could be. Works great for light to medium weight batis. Over 2 ozs it gets shakey but thats why they make a 300...lol

I also picked up a Revo S this year that I cant wait to throw seems super powerful and the drag is un-movable if you need it to be. I have a Cabelas Prodigy also that I am pretty impressed with so far. Used 30 lb braid on it last year for frogs and small/medium swimbaits and it took it like a champ. Not great for finese/flippen or pitchin at all. _________________ You can play on your computer and hang out with your girlfriend if you want....Im gonna go fishin. |
