				| Hit Westhill today in search of some trout. Me and my cousin got there before sunrise , had all holes drilled and tip ups in by dawn. As the sun came up so did the flags. By 830 we had 10 trout all browns and one brookie. Around 900 we had alittle lull in the action then around 10 we had another round of flags. After about 11 or so it slowed down but we had flags here and there. We had some decent fish one in the three pound range and 5 or 6 that were 17 to 20 inches. We were set up from 4 feet to about twenty feet of water all suspended at various areas of the water column. The fish hit on small shiners for the most part, but the bigger fish came in on mealies and all were in 10 feet or less. On a side note we also saw a bald eagle do a loop around the pond. It was a great day to be out even with all the snow and slush. Totals for the day 18 trout 3 pickeral.
