I think I'm starting to average out for last year,... when everything I caught was big!!! Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Had the day off so I hit Rogers as soon as the rains died down in the morning! Mainly just fished 4 baits the whole day,..
1) Nothing on a big swimbait,..
2) A few fish here and there on a dropshot worm
3) A few more fish and some pickeral on a soft jerkbait
4) 3 bass on a jig

Now for the unbelievable part! Chuck C got me into using this enormous 1-ounce jig with double trailers recently,..so I was throwing that around some pads and got a little tap,..waited a second and felt another little tug so I set the hook and pulled up this beast!!

Not sure if it weighed more or less than the jig!! Confused

After that one,..I figured it would be some kind of cosmic justice to hook something about 6 lbs or so on a dropshot,..so that's what I was fishing, when I hooked the second beast of the day!! Very slightly larger than my 4" Roboworm!! Razz Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Oh well,..got a bunch of normal sized fish during the day too, so I won't complain...largest was about 3 lbs but no pic of that one, since I was waiting for the 6lber!!
Very Happy
