I have fished the mouth and lower tidal waters of the ct river with my boat, a 16' deep v with a 90 h/p merc, but i am looking into running into the sound/ along the coast in an effort to find fall fishing.

I know the techniques for catching these fish, but i don't know the locations where i can put this knowledge into practice.

Im not looking for gps coordinates, but rather general locations that i can then put the effort in to find the exact locations.

If anyone has any recommended spots that i can plot on a chart, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
-Steve

Check the DEP weekly fishing news and it tells you where the hot pots are. Its in the link below in the middle box of that page.
