Hit Bartletts yesterday morning with my father in law for my birthday. We've been trying to get out for a while but something always comes up. Decided to take a quick trip to Bartletts with a few eels and see what was doing. Drifting into the rip in about 55' with live eels, nailed this baby on the last eel we had. 48" and 40#. Caught around 10 AM just before slack. After that started drifting squid for porgies and even those things were monsters, most 3-4#! Talk about having a nice little fish fry this weekend! What a great way to spend a birthday! Got in just before the weather turned ugly down there, not many boats around all day long.

That is s sweet fish. I just caught 51"er Wed on a charter in RI using a parachute jig. Going out this weekend (On shore) to try and catch some more Stripers. Man I wish I had access to a boat!!!!!!!
