For about a week and a half we have been catching 32-36" stripers between the mouth and out into sound between old lyme and niantic. Almost every night! They all have been very fat. Have not seen them this fat in a while. Last night topped it all when I pulled in a 40" that weighed almost 30lbs.. The larger guys seem to prefer chunk bait right now. Don't really seem to hit anything trolling or lures. I am currently writing this via cell phone. When I get to a computer I will post a few pics.

It seems the striper season started off real slow with all the rain, but now has picked up and the cows are coming home..
Man I wish I had a boat!!!!

And to fish creek outflows at night you dont need a boat just some shorts! |

LOL I made an offer on a boat today, but was turned down.
Also.... in order to fish the creeks, I need to know what creeks you are talking about.
