| Found the dead of winter last Sunday at Lake Jean in north central PA. 7" of ice, 5" of snow at 2449 feet above sea level. Almost lost my jigging rod, left unattended, as a 23" pckerel nearly brought it for a ride. Caught a 4lb largemouth at the end of the day - and the end of the season. Put the gear in the back of the shed, but already put a fly rod in the car! |
