So, cosmith and myself went down to the private orebed the other day. We had a slow start fishing with sencos and worms. So, I decided to throw on a spinnerbait and saw that I had a pickeral or pike chasing it, which was a bit of a suprise beacause all we had seen or caught from there in the past were largemouth. So, I figured what the hell if the bass are'nt biting I'll fish for pickeral or pike. I then decided to slap on my big 1 oz. fivestar daredevil. By what i believe was my second cast "BAM" I had a fish on my line. I did'nt know what it was all I knew was that it was big and strong as hell. I knew that what ever it was, it was going to be the biggest fish I had ever caught. When I had it closer I saw that it was either a pickeral or a pike. When I landed it I still was uncertain weather it was a pickeral or a pike. I later confirmed that it was a pike weighing in at 8 lbs. 4oz. or 8lbs. 5 oz. ( the scale could'nt make up it's mind). Anyway here are some pics.

nice fish bro!!! so awesome! that is a pretty lookin fish!
I can not wait to hook on to a Pike again... I have been thinking about going pike fishing again real soon!
