Mark, If you don't mind, did you catch your fish on the main river or way up in the creeks yesterday? and what were they relating to?

Thanks

My in hull transducer got just under 45 degrees at Nod Brook on the Avon-Simsbury border today, but jonnyfly00 (aka Jon) had his directly in the water and got a lower reading, 42 degrees, I think.

Hi Guys!

Those are surface water temperatures you reading.....Right?

Anybody using a temp. probe that they can lower further down say 10-15 feet?

We're still aways off before turn-over and the water column is the same temp. from top to bottom!

Still would be nice to know how far the present warmer surface water has penetrated!

4/26 - candlewood 52
4/26 - lili 53.7 in some areas the shepaug arm 52

in the teens tonight and winds today should drop everything even lower -- I fished candlewood all day on the 26 - and all the smallies were off the beds and suspended in about 35 feet - (never saw a large mouth (crazy times) the temp did get back up to 54.5 for about an hour and we got some decent smallies off beds! then it got dark and cold again and that ended our day

Candlewood had a tourney on tue the word i got was the winner was (around 23 to 24 pounds) 2nd place 18 pounds! the cold fronts and winds are changing on an hourly basis! --- not a pretty story!
