53 degrees on the river yestarday,..but everywhere will be dropping substantially by this weekend! Confused

Mark, If you don't mind, did you catch your fish on the main river or way up in the creeks yesterday? and what were they relating to?

Moodus was between 54 and 61 (shallow east side) on Sunday afternoon. Mostly common reading I got was 57.

As of Sunday, Candlewood was 38deg by the damn and between 40 - 41degs else where.

My in hull transducer got just under 45 degrees at Nod Brook on the Avon-Simsbury border today, but jonnyfly00 (aka Jon) had his directly in the water and got a lower reading, 42 degrees, I think.

Hi Guys!

Those are surface water temperatures you reading.....Right?

Anybody using a temp. probe that they can lower further down say 10-15 feet?

We're still aways off before turn-over and the water column is the same temp. from top to bottom!

Still would be nice to know how far the present warmer surface water has penetrated!
