I was looking to start an actual trail for the site so we could have a better schedule and could fill them up. Some of the lakes I was thinking of:

Candlewood
Gardner
Mansfield
Highland
The CT River: Hartford and Haddam
Zoar
Lily
Bantam

Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful and appreciated. Very Happy

Eastside, I'll trade you Mansfield for Amos and/or Rogers! Wink

Also, If you're going to do the River (which I definitely think you should...) the mid-southern end out of Haddam (or Salmon River mouth) is a lot better than launching from Hartford most of the time!

In general, I think this is a great idea,...essentially it'll be a bassclub with only the fishing part and not all the extra stuff that I'd rather do without anyway! Just my $.02
Cool

I don't like a few of those places but I am willing to fish them to make it a nice challenge.

Nick, It's gonna be the same or worse for folks living on the eastside and having to go to the western lakes! That's why it's good to spread them out as evenly as possible over the state, so that everyone gets to share some of the pain!! Cool

I would be in for something like this. I also would add a few lakes in the eastern part of the state.

Beach
Pachaug
Mashapaug

Whatever works!!!!!!!

We can throw a some of those in the mix. The trail will probably start in April and run through November.

Sounds good chuck, I will make what I can depending on other tourney's.

I have to agree with others, Mansfield Hollow is a ses pool dump. I would much rather trade it for Amos, Beach, or Pachaug, in that order.

Is this going to be a non boater draw, or a regular partner trail?

What are we talking for entry fees?

I also have to agree with Mark, launching from Haddam or salmon river, the fishing is much better than launching from Hartford.

I am glad everyone thinks Mansfield is a toilet. Very Happy I don't mind skipping that lake. I just thought alot of you guys liked fishing there. Congamond and Twin a definitely good lakes that could be thrown in there.
