Tonight was a great night for derby weird cause they havent been in there heavy in weeks. Uncle went and caught 4 keepers in less time he could reel in and throw popper back think he said bout 20 mins. So i will be headed there tomorrow but mos def CTR has been great past 2 weeks can see the fish swimming around thats how many they are over there... But Derby stripers are more active in my opinion... More aggressive that is.... So i will be there 5am.. will post report when i come home to get boat to fish lower housy afternoon...

Mon morning I'm going down to the docks across from Goodspeed Opera House to try my luck for striper. Since I am boatless and will be fishing from the docks, any tips on what to use. I just picked up some 9in shad baits and I also have some raps and other swim baits

There is still some light action in the upper rivers in Derby. No where near as much as CTR but it still is fun went there last night and had 5 one in about an hour landed one. Only top water and found out what kind of bait i found in the river which has been gold to me this year so i bought 5.... Had a hit yesterday that flung my bait 3 feet out of the water.... Just love that top water....
